CT Plus an East London Gem

Description
CT Plus an East London Gem
Hackney Community Transport (HCT) was founded in 1982 to provide services for those in the community as an alternative to those who cannot access public transport. In 2001 CT Plus was setup to start bidding for contracts to run bus services and its first win was TFL route 153, in 2003 they won the contracts for two new routes the 388 and 394. CT Plus soon expanded outside London such as Bristol, Guernsey, Jersey and Yorkshire running various services from school buses to park and rides. Investing its profits from contracts into community services like mobility buses for disabled or elderly passengers. This book looks at every TfL route that CT has operated and other London operations. In addition we visit their garages and see some of the former London fleet in operation elsewhere.
