Jim Blake’s ABC OF LONDON
Description
Jim Blake’s ABC OF LONDON
ABC OF LONDON is a major collection of photographs featuring many of the suffix routes operated by London Transport, the Country Area and London Country during the 1960s to the 1990s. These routes denoted either a variation from the usual line of route of the ‘parent’ route - for example a different routeing or terminus on a Sunday from that used during the week - or perhaps a truncation or extension of the main route
They cover a time period of over twenty-five years and illustrate not only the familiar standard London Transport vehicles of the RT, RF and RM families, but also the minority GS and RLH classes of the LT years and many of the new one-man-operated vehicles of the final LT era.
