Jim Blake’s latest offering for this popular Roadside series looks at the non-standard, small classes of bus and coach in the London Transport fleet between the mid-1960s and twenty years later, when LT was abolished. Such classes as the RLH and GS were very much the exception to the rule in the heavily standardised fleet until the new one-man-operated types being evaluated for the Reshaping Plan came on the scene, but by the mid-1980s, only the surviving Routemasters remained from those years. Once again Jim presents a fascinating collections of his photographs from this bygone era, most never having been published before.
