North West England - Buses, Coaches & Trams in the 1960s

Jim Blake's latest selection of his 1960s bus and coach photographs takes us to the rest of North West England, outside the Greater Manchester area. Not only did the operators in this area still have many early post-war vehicles still in service at this time, but Blackpool Corporation still had its tram system too, the only surviving example in the country. Once again, a fascinating variety of vehicle chassis types and body makes feature in this volume, despite the dominance of the locally-built Leyland vehicles! Once again, the pictures are brimming with nostalgia!
